Holy Trinity Youth What We Do:
We have fun! We meet in the 'Youth Loft' on the 2nd floor of the church ... but also venture out to serve and learn, first hand.
Summer 2010 we went on a Mystery Mission Trip and cleaned the beach in Corpus Christi.
![]() At least once a month we have fun bowling or playing mini golf. Here’s a picture of us at Laser Quest.
After making a rock wall for Community Fellowship in New Braunfels,
we cooled off with a pool party!
We prepared food packets at Daily Bread Ministries for Kids Against Hunger.
We also serve the homeless at Loaves & Fishes and at 4th St Café.
In the past, we've engaged in the following types of activities:
- Community Outreach and Mission Service
- Annual MO Ranch Mid-Winter Retreat - Running games at the Fall picnic - Volunteering during Vacation Bible School - Summer camp at John Knox or MO Ranch - Devotionally reading His inspired Word - Learning memory verses and Bible trivia - Eating ice cream - Fund raisers - Activities with other Youth Groups - and more fun: bowling, put-put, canoeing ... What We Believe: We maintain a Biblical outlook in all we do. Our basic understanding of Chritian values is undergirded by interaction with our parents, our pastors, and our mentors during these activities. We are grateful for their unconditional care ... as they provide for our spiritual growth. The Connection: We'd love to take credit for all this ... but the PYC! was not our own brilliant idea. It's part of a greater initiative that connects us to the Presbyterian Church (PCUSA) at the national level. Through PYC! we are united with our peers across the country, and occassionally attend national-level PYC retreats, like the Annual Youth Triennium. Following are the three foundational thoughts that outline the PYC! charter:Belonging - Leadership - Identity - We are unified by a humble reverence to our Lord. Feel welcome to browse our other pages. If you have any questions about PYC!, please contact the PYC! webmaster.
