Confidence in Every Child

Holy Trinity Presbyterian Day School's program is designed to foster self-esteem, self-confidence and independence in self-help skills and the inner controls and language abilities necessary for effective social interaction. We stress the process of learning and discovery rather than the end product. We encourage children to feel good about themselves as a consequence of their own achievements. Our goal is to support children in their active explorations and to help them become self-confident, independent and inquisitive learners. Daily activities are designed to encourage children to act upon their environment and collaborate with others in their quest for learning. We provide classrooms rich in materials to explore, manipulate and discuss. Children are guided to question, to experiment, to think and to reason. No single area of development is stressed above the other - we believe fostering the growth of the whole child is essential to our approach.

Chapel

We provide a Chapel program for children two-years-old and above. Experiences are planned to help children grow in their Christian faith and understanding. We meet with the Pastor weekly to hear, see and dramatize stories from the Bible, and most importantly, to sing and pray. We strive to bring out the very best in each other and make sure the children are happy, safe, nurtured and guided as they grow, not only in their education, but their love for Jesus.  

Outside Play

We have two age-appropriate playgrounds, and schedule outside play during all mornings and afternoons, weather permitting. There's grass to play on, hills to climb and roll down, and older children have a path around the large playscape for riding tricycles and pedal cars.

Infant Center

Our infant center is designed to meet the individual needs of infants from six weeks to fourteen months.
