1. Approved VISION NEXT (Sep 2024) - This 4 Phase plan is designed to prepare the way for Holy Trinity's next Lead Pastor. Phases include:  

I. Discovery Phase - the Transition Team focusing on understanding how Holy Trinity functions, gathering information from the Jim Gray Vitality Report

II. Getting Our House in Order - applying recommendations from Jim Gray's Vitality Report as approved by Holy Trinity elders

III. Growing Our Family - assessing outreach efforts to welcome new people into the Holy Trinity family

IV. Turning Over the Keys (new pastor installation) - celebrating the call of Holy Trinity's next Lead Pastor

2. Obtained Temporary Pastoral Leadership (Oct 1st 2024) - The Transition Team of Dr Stamper, Pastor Tobias Green, Nico Carrillo is under contract through a month-to-month covenant

3. Released $18,000 from Reserves (Oct 8th 2024) - These funds were a first request by the Transition Team to invest in long-deferred upgrades including new sanctuary sound system equipment, audio visual installations, outside entry flags, outside vinyl banners and frames

4. Received a Mission Presbytery Vitality Grant (Oct 8th 2024) - Church Consultant Jim Gray visited our campus, met with members and Elders, and processed information from the Transition Team over a two day trip. His first report was submitted to us with 21 recommendations for Elder discernment.

5. Received a Mission Presbytery Website Grant (October 2024) - This website is a result of the funds granted to us for a three-year subsidized website program.



NEXT STEPS (updated October 29th, 2024)

1. Receive Approval from Mission Presbytery for the required MISSION STUDY

2. Receive Approval from Mission Presbytery for the JOB DESCRIPTION for our next pastor

3. Nominate and Elect five members for our PNC Pastor Nominating Committee (the people who search for our next pastor)

4. Begin nationwide SEARCH through the PCUSA Church Openings listings database

5. INTERVIEW potential candidates 

6. FINAL IN-PERSON INTERVIEWS with finalists for our next Lead Pastor 

7. CONGREGATIONAL VOTE to approve our next Lead Pastor
