Bridget Revell is the newest member of Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church to
receive an Honorary Life Membership in the Presbyterian Women. She received
this honor at the May 7, 2017 Women's Gathering at Holy Trinity Presbyterian
Church.
Bridget has been a Deacon, an Elder, secretary to the Women of Holy Trinity three times and is a great church member. She is always ready to lend a hand with any activity. We are honored to have Bridget as a member of our church.
Book Divas will meet on the first Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Geneva Room in the sanctuary.
The Walk to Emmaus is a Christian retreat experience and movement, focused on spiritual renewal within existing communities of faith. "The Resurrection Story, told in Luke 24:13-35 describes the Walk to Emmaus encounter. With this theme for the weekend, faith is re-explained, grace is experienced, Christian community is realized, and the Body of Christ is renewed through revitalization of church members' commitment to Christ" -Upper Room Handbook on Emmaus.
The Holy Trinity Emmaus Community is part of Diakonia Emmaus San Antonio. This is an ecumenical group of churches and denominations who cooperate to organize non-denominational Walks to Emmaus retreats designed to develop healthy church members and leaders. There are a number of Emmaus Reunion Groups for Women at Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church.
Ladies Lunch Bunch Group meets monthly on the 4th Monday of the month for fellowship and meal at local restaurants. Sometimes they might even tackle a real Central Texas Adventure, like kayaking in Austin, hiking at Enchanted Rock, or zip-lining in Wimberley as they build confidence and friendships.
The women of the church annually provide leadership for a worship service each Spring. Watch the Women's Bulletin Board in the Family Room for more information.
PW Gatherings are held several times a year. All women are welcomed to share in a meal and mission work of the Presbyterian Women at Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church. Gathering dates will be posted on the Women's Bulletin Board in the FDamily Room.
PW Holly Days Arts & Crafts Fair
The 29th annual Holly Days Arts & Crafts Fair will be held on October 5, 2019. All proceeds from the fair go to mission projects locally, nationally, and arond the world.
Purpose: Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace, and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) and witnesses to the promise of God’s kingdom.
